- Welcome: theme options appear on the totem screen and the visitor taps to choose a style (retro, futuristic, minimal or a scene designed for the event).
- Shot: the camera above the screen captures the frame while the visitor watches themselves live and adjusts the pose.
- Transformation: the software analyses facial features and regenerates the frame in the chosen theme; the person stays recognisable while background, outfit and lighting change.
- Delivery: the result appears on screen and is downloaded via QR code or taken as a high-resolution print.
- Sharing: images come out ready for social media with a branded frame and the event hashtag.
What is the difference between a classic photo booth and an AI photo booth?
A classic Photo Booth records what is there: your props, your pose, the backdrop behind you. An AI photo booth recreates the frame. At an event this has two effects. First, visitors queue because they are curious about the result, and they are more likely to share their image. Second, the theme can be built around the brand message: business-themed portraits for a financial institution, futuristic scenes for a tech launch, period aesthetics for an anniversary.
Where should an AI photo booth go at a fair or congress?
In the setup in the video, the booth is built into the stand design and wrapped in corporate colours. It is the most natural way to draw passing visitors onto the stand. At congresses the most productive spots are the registration exit, the coffee break area and the foyer. All you need is room for a queue of one or two people and balanced light without direct sun.
